This is the first ever 3 oz Silver coin with thermochromic enamel color. The enamel color changes its hues and brightness once it reaches body temperature.
The coin has an Antique Finish quality and comes in a box, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited edition of only 1.499 pieces.
The reverse of the coin shows the Chameleon. The change of color in these animals has the function of camouflage, but above all of social signaling, to make those of its species aware of its mood, and reaction to temperature.
The obverse of the coin features the Barbados Coat of Arms and the inscriptions: “BARBADOS” – the country of issue, “5 DOLLARS” – the face value and “2023” – the year of issue.
